A bit of
History about Fremont Baseball Incorporated
Fremont
Baseball Incorporated was established in 1954 as Washington Township
Baseball, prior to the City of Fremont being Incoporated. A few years
later the name was changed to Fremont
Baseball Incoporated and is the oldest running youth baseball league
in Fremont,
California;
and
is
dedicated
to providing the youth of Fremont a safe, fun environment to learn
fundamentally
correct baseball. FBI Home fields are located behind Harvey Green Elementary
School at 42875
Gatewood Street, Fremont. Gatewood is located off of
Blacow, between Grimmer and Fremont Blvd's.
FBI being a PONY
affiliate has the ability to send players to a national "World Series".
There
are sectional, regional,
and zone play off tournament games.
FBI
has teams formed from players all around Fremont. Pony
has sanctioned FBI the territory which encompasses all of Fremont.
FBI has entering it's 50th season of baseball for our future Major
League
players,
such
as Pitching Hall of Famer, Dennis Eckersley of the Oakland Athletics.
Many of our have coaches recall having played for FBI as they were
growing
up.
