Shetland
(5 to 6 Years Old)
Players learn basic fundamentals of baseball. Players hit off of
tee, and manager pitched balls when ready. Games are three innings,
all players bat through. Mid season players are taught coach pitch.
The Tee is used as necessary. |

Pinto
(7 to 8 Years Old)
Assigned teams via neighborhoods. In this division, players are
being taught a higher caliber of baseball. The kids play on a
50'
diamond with 38' pitching distance, with coach pitch the first
part of season, and child pitch the second half of the season,
bringing in a coach pitch after 5 pitches as needed. |

Mustang
(9 to 10 Years Old)
Try outs and player drafts are used at this level. The level of
play is more competitive. The kids play on a 60' diamond with
44'
pitching distance. Players start to lead off and steal, pitchers
learn to pick off base stealers. The dropped third strike comes
into play. |

Bronco
(11 to 12 Years Old)
These teams are aligned with Mustang teams. The games are played
more like professional ball. The kids play on a 70' diamond with
48' pitching distance. Pitchers are called for balks, players can
steal home. |

Pony
(13 to 14 Years Old)
These teams are aligned with Bronco teams. This level of play is
prepatory for high school baseball. Pony plays on a 80' diamond
with 54' pitching distance. Major baseball rules apply at this
level. FBI will play interleague with FNYB. |

Colt
(15 to 16 Years Old)
Players are recruited by managers and coaches. Colt plays on a
professional size diamond, and starts after high school ball.
Baseball rules are major league rules. FBI interlocks schedules
with other PONY organizations. |
